Adriana Minhoto
is a communications professional with more than ten years of experience
in the press office and online media. She has a specialization in
Environmental Management and Sustainable Development and also in Intercultural Communication.
Intercultural communication studies provide her the tools to assess communication in culturally diverse groups and communities in order to
understand and show the value in cultural differences. Her experience
also helps to visualize the challenges of globalized and multicultural
societies. She is able to facilitate cross-cultural workshops in diverse situations, actively encouraging people to reflect.
Adriana
is also a board member of the Association of Portuguese Language
Teachers in Finland and has volunteered for more than two years in a
project for spreading Portuguese as a heritage language for children. In
2019 she has volunteered in Kolibrí Festivaali and from 2020 to 2022 worked as communications manager of the Kulttuurikeskus Ninho ry and its projects.
