The Disability History Month webinar on Finland-Swedish disability history will be organised on 15.9.2025 at 15.30-17.30 (Helsinki time).
We will dive into the story of the incredible Deaf adventurer Martin Hellöre and the history of Finland-Swedish sign language users, as well as learn what kind of disability history can be found in Finland-Swedish archives, and what history can give to today’s activism.
