Nordic Seminar: The role of culture in social inclusion and social work

Place: Hanasaari - Swedish-Finnish Cultural Center, Espoo.

Warmly welcome to a Nordic seminar to discuss the role of culture in social inclusion and social work. The seminar highlights good examples from the Nordic countries, both from the administrative and practical levels, to strengthening cooperation between the cultural and social sectors, creating new contact platforms between different actors and deepening cross-administrative co-operation.

The event is part of the Finnish "Pohjola 2020" priority project.

Hanaholmen - The Swedish-Finnish Cultural Center, Hanasaarenranta 5, Espoo

How to find Hanaholmen: Hanaholmen is also served by all buses operating along the Westway. The bus stop along the Westway is ca 400 metres from Hanaholmen. Hanaholmen is served by the metro. The walking distance from the nearest metro station Koivusaari to Hanaholmen is approximately 1,1 km.

Languages of the seminar 

Finnish and Scandinavian languages, as well as simultaneous interpretation between these languages. Possibility for English translation and international sign language interpretation.

Accessibility

Entry to the seminar rooms is accessible, there is an accessible toilet in the seminar rooms. Assistant dogs are welcome. Seminar rooms have an induction loop. Opportunity for English translation and international sign language interpretation (see registration page).
