Areas of expertise and interest: intercultural dialogue, social inclusion and participatory practices, artist residencies, co-creation and cross-pollination practices, community building, cultural production

Jaana is a culture producer and project manager with extensive experience in the residency field, visual arts, theatre, and dance, working both as a freelancer and within organisations.

She has been actively engaged in fostering intercultural dialogue, connectivity, and cultural equity through her work with Agents of Change: Mediating Minorities, the Ukraine Solidarity Residencies Programme, and the Permanent Home of Displacement.

Jaana is also the co-founder of Culture Cooperative TIcAS, a Tampere-based organisation dedicated to making cultural offering more accessible to diverse audiences. The cooperative also works to strengthen the visibility of foreign-born artists in the Pirkanmaa region, supporting their professional development and integration into the local cultural landscape.

Jaana has done DEI work with: Cultura Foundation, Korjaamo, City of Tampere, Turku City Theatre, City of Kotka.
