Daria Agapova is a museum educator, a curator of participatory cultural projects, a diversity agent, a MA in Art History, and a member of the International Council of Museums. Daria was a co-editor of the recent ICOM international collection “Migrations: Revealing the Personal. Museum practices and recommendations for working on Migration, Mobility and Diversity" (2020); a co-leader and curator of education in the Agents of Change: Mediating Minorities (MeM) project supported by Creative Europe (2020–22). Working for the Cultura Foundation, Helsinki, she organized educational programs School for Museum Freelancers and School of Art Mediation for representatives of the Russian-speaking minority in Finland (2017–19) and curated an interactive bilingual (Russian and Finnish) program for families with children as a joint project of several museums in Helsinki area. She also co-curated a partner project with the Finnish Heritage Agency within the framework of CultureLabs: Recipes for Social Innovation (2019–20). In 2015 Daria was a co-organizer of the USA–Russia Participatory Museum project and the editor-in-chief of the book “Participatory Culture: Museum as a Forum for Dialogue and Collaboration”. She is an author of a number of interactive partner museum projects for kids and teens and a writer for several museum guidebooks.
