Maarit Hedman & Anu Haapanen: Fragments of Darkness

Exhibition Fragments of Darkenss by Maarit Hedman and Anu Haapanen dives into the dialogue of light and darkness. The exhibition is also a dialogue between two artists, who work with different starting points. It is a process, where an artist who has lost her sight and an artist who sees can reflect their working through each other and find new perspectives to artistic work.

Culture for All and the Cultural Association Finland’s Eucrea organize a series of artists’ meetings in 2022-2023. We warmly invite you to our third meeting! The meeting will be online on Zoom.
Making space for artistry -project's artist residencies and exhibitions in Tornio and Haparanda
The Culture for All Service has launched the project Making space for artistry - equality for disabled artists and artists who are Sign Language users. The two-year project is funded by the Kone Foundation. In cooperation with the Aine Art Museum and the cities of Tornio and Haparanda and the participating artists, we will organize artist residencies from August to December 2022 and produce exhibitions in Tornio and Haparanda. We aim to make working in a residency possible especially for disabled artists and artists who are Sign Language users.
#StopHatredNow 2022 – The programme is out!
The intercultural and anti-racist platform #StopHatredNow takes place virtually on 16–21 May 2022. The event creates new discourse on diversity, inclusivity, power structures and intersectionally feminist strategies. This year’s theme is Practising Coexistence.
