Svenja Fassbender has a degree in Dutch Studies, Scandinavian Studies and Intercultural Communication. Her Master’s thesis focused on gender and family constructions in Swedish Children’s Literature. Svenja has lived and worked in Germany, Sweden, China, and Belgium before moving to Finland in 2019.
Svenja strongly believes in the idea of lifelong learning, which she considers to be the development of personal skills and competences as a sustainable investment. This creates the foundation for well-being. She currently works as a Cultural Producer, Event Manager and Diversity Agent between Helsinki and Berlin.
