Pablo Alvarez
Pablo Alvarez is
a clown, specialised in participatory art and the use of creativity and
arts to promote health, well-being and inclusion. The focus of his
artistic and educational
projects, mix concepts such as art as social practice, collective
learning, non-hierarchical education, Institutional imagination, and
experimental mediation.
Currently, he is dedicated to developing early child education projects related to social circus & diversity from 3 months to 83 years old. He also worked as an adviser for the National Committee of Multidisciplinary Arts and Diversity, in the
Arts Promotion Centre Finland. At the same time, he is
the director of the Marino Clown Company, our projects are inclusive,
adaptable, comfortable and fun for people. We believe art and creativity can help break down differences, encourage
empathy & make people happier. The company values are collaboration, accessibility, and flexibility.
Pablo has
received several prizes and awards: as a multicultural artist from the
city of Helsinki, a finalist for the social entrepreneurship of the
government of Aragon, Spain, grants from the Finnish Arts Center and the
Ministry of Culture,
and others.
