White Noise – Communal Installation 15.-20.10. Laituri, Kamppi
Are You part of the white noise?
There are wanderers, code breakers and sentient beings full of zest for life moving about the Whitecane Forest. Bring Your curious mind combined with Your own sough to be a part of the work in the heart of the city.
Communal installation
WHITE NOISE
Oct. 15th – 20th, 2018
Formed of old and worn-out white canes, this communal work of art promises to excite the senses.
Each cane which now forms part of this work was contributed by a visually impaired person. The installation has taken shape through the cooperation between a leading group of artists (Maarit Hedman, Sari Kekkonen, Piia Rossi and Erja Tulasalo) and other participants celebrating the National Day of the White Cane on the 15th October. The opening ceremony will take place at Laituri on Monday 15th October at 12 o'clock.
