Audio description and subtitling obligatory for films from beginning of 2019

From the beginning of 2019, audio description and subtitling for hearing impaired is compulsory for feature film drama and documentary films that receive marketing and distribution support from the Finnish Film Foundation. In practice, this means a significant increase in the number of audio described movies, after the films produced in 2019 will premiere.
