Transborder conversations 2025: Two-Day Masterclass Series and Film Screenings, 11-12 September, Helsinki
Academy of Moving People and Images, Taidekoulu Maa, and Critical Cinema Lab of Aalto University are thrilled to announce TransBorder Conversations 2025, a two-day programme of masterclasses and film screenings featuring directors Ilrhan Kim (Edhi Alice, 2024) and Koldo Almandoz (Oreina, 2018). Taking place on 11–12 September at Kino Konepaja in Helsinki.
The masterclasses offer the chance to engage in conversations with filmmakers about their filmmaking practice. Participants will explore the creative process of filmmakers, from idea conception to distribution.
The event is free, but RSVP is required.
The masterclasses are held in English, and the films are subtitled in English.
The event is guided by safer space principles.
