#StopHatredNow – Power and Change. May 14th-17th, 2018, Kiasma, Caisa, Ateneum and Lavaklubi
The arts field is changing. Criticism for its homogenous and exclusive traits is getting stronger and the structures of the art field is under radar. #StopHatredNow is an intercultural and anti-racist platform organized in collaboration with several art and intercultural organizations. It creates discourse, offers tools and knowledge about diversity. The theme of 2018 is Power and Change.
There will be four days full conversation about the structures of the arts field, equality, cultural appropriation, policy of curating, the concept of being human and normcritical leadership as well as dreaming and heading towards a better world. The languages used in the event are Finnish and English. The used language are marked in the program before each session.
