Suggestions for Proposals: Workshop Näytillä. Esille asetettu ihminen (“Appearing. Presenting a person”) in Helsinki on April 11, 2018

The workshop will convene researchers from various fields who are interested in the theme of presenting people in the past and present. The views can be related, for example, to the history of exhibitions, museology, anthropology, ethnology, art history or contemporary art research. Attention may be given to a case study, people's convention, subject-related ethical questions, or any other theme-related perspective.


Time: Wed 11.4.2018 at 13-17
Place: Helsinki Art History Study Unit (University's main building, old side, Unioninkatu 34, top floor)

Suggestions for proposals (up to 300 words) are expected no later than 16.3.

The workshop program will be published by the end of March and the event will be open for everyone.
