ARMAS festival celebrates aging from October 1 to 15, 2017

The two-week ARMAS festival will be held for the first time from October 1 to 15th. The goal is to make a festival every year. ARMAS is an umbrella organization that unambiguously combines artists, artists, arts and crafts, elderly organizations and community actors.

ARMAS is a unique event in Finland that raises older artists and makes the themes of aging visible by means of art. ARMAS is also unique in figures: more than 120 events in two weeks, involving 16 municipalities, 20 arts professionals, 16 elderly organizations and two research organizations.

Examples from the program:

- 60+ Instagram Walk.
- Beer and The Beatles.
- Sing along 100 years!
