The cultural programme of World Village Festival has been published.
The festival’s music offering includes M.A.K.U. Soundsystem (COL/USA), a combination of West African groove and 1990s club sounds, the celebrated folk band Afenginn (DEN), Aláfia (BRA) a tribute to 1970s carioca, Che Sudaka (ESP/ARG/COL) a mixture of cumbia and ska and Calle Real (SWE), a timba music playing band. Top domestic acts include the endlessly versatile Irina, the crème de la crème of Finnish jazz Dalindéo as well as the moody folk sounds of Viitasen Piia.
