INTERKULTfest 2017 – Open call for program

INTERKULTFEST is the leading festival of intercultural performing arts in Finland. It celebrates cultural diversity and intercultural engagement by presenting some of the most remarkable contemporary performances from its field, both national and international. The next festival will be held from 19 to 23 September 2017 in Helsinki.

The festival is looking for ready-made acts that work with the thematic of the festival and also appeal to our audience of teens and young adults. Open call invites dance, theatre, circus, performance, music, spoken word or any other art form that is considered to be performative art.

The festival organizers only consider professional groups, or such groups that have a professional representation. Acts should be under 120 minutes long and technically easy to build because of the tight schedule during the festival week.

Please submit all proposals by email to festival(at)kassandra.fi with the subject “INTERKULTFEST 2017 - open call” by the end of February 2017.

For more information, see the website of INTERKULTfest.
