Call for participation: From Inclusion to Partnership Exhibition in Israel
March 2017 sees the opening of an international exhibition which brings together works from diverse disciplines (will be displayed in digital format) created collaboratively by artists with disabilities together with artists without disabilities.
The exhibition will take place in parallel to an international conference which will be held in several sites in Israel including: Jerusalem, Sderot, Tel Aviv and Nazeret, and will discuss ways to fullfil a dream of full equality among human diversity in the society. Later this year, the exhibition will travel to Ekaterinburg, Russia, and will be displayed as part of the ‘First World Congress for Persons with Disabilities’.
Location: The Gallery for Social Art - Sustainability Education Institute | The David Yellin Academic College of Education, Jerusalem.
Deadline for submission: Friday, December 2, 2016, 5:00 p.m.
The criteria for submission include that works should illustrate the process of full, equal and non-hierarchical collaboration between artists with disabilities and artists without disabilities from conception to end product. Works are accepted from diverse disciplines (visual Arts, photography, stage arts etc.). Works must have been completed after January 2014.
