New symbol for Sign-language services and accessibility
The Finnish Association of the Deaf has published new symbols for Sign-language services.
Sign-language services may include events in Sign Language, signed interpreting, audiovisual material with sign language or service personnel competent in sign language at a service point. There are three versions of the symbol. Symbol with letters “svk” refers to Finnish Sign Language. Symbol with letters “ fisv.tsp.” refers to Finland-Swedish Sign Language. The version, that has no letters, can be used to refer to Sign Language services in general. You can download the symbols from the website of The Finnish Association of the Deaf.
