
Hämeenlinna Art Museum’s project about how to integrate immigrants by means of art and culture
The project is about using art and culture based methods as part of integration of immigrants.
The participants have seen art exhibition and discussed about Finland through the art works. They have participated to workshops. The project started in September and already 230 immigrants have participated. The participants have improved their language skills, and they have felt more included and empowered.
Exhibition in Hämeenlinna
The art pieces that have been produced in the workshops are now exhibited at the Hämeenlinna Kumppanuustalo. The exhibition is called 103. The exhibition is open 1.-4.12.2015 at 9-15.
The project continues to the end of this year.
