Turku Book Fair 2nd-4th October: theme Sámiland
Turku Book Fair brings together approximately 700 performers, about 450 performances, hundreds of exhibitors and thousands of visitors. The main themes in the autumn 2015 are Sweden, Sámiland and Kustavi.
The theme Sámiland presents Sámi Culture in its many forms. The Sámi program includes rap music, folk rock, joikhu, stories, literature, poetry, poem concert, author presentations, book release, theatre, contemporary dance, films, children´s film festival, documentaries and workshops.
