Culture and accessibility conference in Helsinki 12th November
Actors in the sector often have similar challenges regarding accessibility. That is why Funka and Arcada University of Applied Sciences will arrange a conference focusing on accessibility and culture. The idea is to share knowledge between countries and inspire each other.
On 12 November, it is time for a new conference: Accessibility and Culture in Helsinki.
The program will include concrete examples and good ideas from museums, libraries and performing arts from Sweden and Finland. The conference is held in English.
We charge a participation fee of 50 €. Refreshments and conference materials are included. Lunch is served at cost. The conference is free of charge for members of an end user organisation.
The complete programme will be presented in August, but reserve the date now!
The conference is partly funded by the Swedish-Finnish Cultural Foundation. The foundation´s aim is to promote cultural relations, increased knowledge of and contact between the two countries' culture, industry and people.
Arcada in Helsinki has 2,700 students from 40 countries and educates as well as conducts applied research in areas such as healthcare, rehabilitation, and economic, cultural and social fields.
