Autobiographies of the people with disabilities have been collected
When disabled people tell about their own lives, it gives new information about their lives in whole and about the changes that have happened in their everyday life and positions in different times.
37 writers participated from different parts of Finland, when the autobiographies of the people with disabilities in Finland were collected. The results of the collection project were published last week.
The collection project was arranged by "The life of disabled people in Finland" project and The Finnish Literature Society (SKS)
