Call for proposals: Destinations for All

Culture will have a high profile at the first Global Summit "Destinations for All 2014", which will be held in Montréal, Canada, 19-22 October. It is going to be one of the main conference themes.

The World Summit Destinations for All promises to take the current dialogue on accessible tourism to a new and exciting level. By bringing together key players in tourism, culture, and transportation, the Summit aims to identify and implement the necessary measures to establish international tourism that is inclusive and accessible.

Organized by Kéroul, Québec´s leading authority on accessible tourism, and supported by numerous prestigious international organizations, the World Summit Destinations for All promises to chart a new course towards universal accessible tourism.

Proposals are invited in the following areas of cultural accessibility for disabled people:
• practical case-studies
• accessibility management
• cultural accessibility seen through the prism of tourism : case-studies and think pieces

The deadline for nominations is 17 March 2014. As is so often the case, the organisers do not, unfortunately, have the resources to cover speakers' expenses.
