Mental Health Art Week 2014 - short film competition

The Finnish Association for Mental Health (FAMH), jointly with its local associations and other partners, is organising Finland´s first Mental Health Art Week in 19.-25. May 2014

Through cultural events this week aims to create dialogue at both individual and community levels about the meaning of mental health to us all. As part of the week´s events, the FAMH is organising a short film competition that is open to all film makers. We are especially interested in what the term "mental health" means to you and how you have interpreted it in your film. We encourage innovative exploration of mental health from a wellbeing and strength-based angles.

We welcome short films from all genres. Non-Finnish language films should be subtitled in either Finnish or English. Closing date for submissions is 4.4.2014. Selected films will be shown during the MHAW at an awards ceremony on Thursday 22.5.2014.
