Wednesday Feb 5th 2014 at 12.30-16
Place: The National Museum of Finland, Mannerheimintie 34, Helsinki
Suomen Kulttuuriperintökasvatuksen seura and The National Museum of Finland arrange a seminar about cultural identity, integration and the future of cultural heritage education. Cultural diversity and different traditions are making the cultural heritage education field wider in Finland. The national minorities as well as immigration bring a new view of point to the discussion of the rights of children and young people and the meaning of cultural identity. In the seminar we will discuss what kind of challenges this brings.
The seminar is free of charge.
