DanceAbility workshop: Nature Nurture 3.-4.8.
Come and dance in an accessible nature!
This two day workshop will focus on working with movement improvisation inside a studio and outside in natural surroundings. The aim of the practice is for each person to find and develop their own unique movement vocabulary and to experience themselves through their moving body in relationship to themselves, others and the environment. Each day will start with inside practice and in the afternoon we will move outside, finishing the day back in the studio. We will dance what ever the weather as that is part of the practice. The workshop is accessible for anyone to participate and the outside sites will be accessible for wheelchairs.
Time: Sat 3 & Sun 4.8.2013 10.30-16.00 with an hour break for lunch.
Place: Ammattiopiston Liikuntasali, (Orton) Tenholantie 10, Helsinki
Cost: 30€ day 50€ for both days. 10% discount to DAF's member.
