
Nominations invited for International Jodi Awards 2013
Nominations are now invited for the 4th International Jodi Awards. The International Jodi Awards are for the best and most accessible web site, web resource or down-loadable application.
Previous Winners include Berlin für Blinde, the Public Library of Karlovy Vary (Czech Republic), New York Beyond Sight, the Smithsonian Museum, the Dutch national accessible digital library and the Museum of American Art.
The Jodi Awards are for best use of digital technology to widen access to information, collections, learning and creativity for disabled people in museums, galleries, libraries, archives and heritage sites. They are given by the Jodi Mattes Trust for accessible digital culture.
The Jodi Awards celebrate their 10th anniversary and will be given at UK Museums Association Conference on Monday 11 November 2013, at the Museum of Liverpool.
The deadline for Award nominations is Friday 2 August 2013.
The International Jodi Awards are open to all countries, except the UK. Three Awards (Participatory Design, Innovation, Legacy and Impact) are given to projects from the UK, where projects can be assessed onsite.
