Finnish National Opera works with groups which requires special attention
Finnish National Opera arranges activities for many different kind of audience groups
requiring special attention. Purpose for this activity is to gain experiences of opera and ballet on their terms - often through participation and learning by doing.
FNO has for example arranged concerts in nursing homes for elderly and people with chronic diseases. In a Bird of Prey - a Carmen based unique joint production the FNO, DuvTeatern and the Blue Flamenco dance school brings together actors with and without developmental disabilities, flamenco dancers and four opera singers.
