In Touch with Art - International perspectives on equal access to museums and heritage for vision impaired people

Victoria and Albert Museum, 13-14 October 2010

Europe's leading conference about museums, heritage and people with vision
impairment once again brings together experts from Europe and North America. It's a unique opportunity to discover new best practice, take part in discussions about contemporary issues, to enrol in study visits to London's leading museums and participative workshops.

In Touch with Art 2010 takes the creative leap to allow ample time for audience participation in reflective 'Think tank' and Re:Think' sessions. The programme also presents a wealth of practical case-studies and guidance. It has has been designed to be a welcoming and stimulating place for both newcomers in the field and seasoned practitioners.

Many of the speakers who will share their experiences at the conference have a vision impairment. They are artists, social workers, philosophers, museum advisers and arts development workers.
