Postia pappi Jaakobille - First Audio Descriped DVD in Finnish released

Postia pappi Jaakobille -movie directed by Klaus Härö has audio description and subtitles in Finnish

For the very first time a DVD-movie sold in stores includes an audio description in Finnish. It means that blind and visually impaired persons have now an opportunity to choose a version including verbal description of the visual information. There are Finnish subtitles available for hearing impaired persons as well. The DVD is available already in movie rentals and it will be out for sale on Friday November 6.

Postia Pappi Jaakobille is directed and manuscripted by Klaus Härö, and it has received already 90.000 viewers at movie theatres. The movie is also the official candidate of Finland for the Academy Award. The movie is produced by Rimbo Salomaa and Lasse Salminen.
