ICOM/CECA holds its next plenary conference in Reykjavik, Iceland
from Monday, October 5 to Saturday, October 10, 2009
The conference is organized jointly by ICOM - Iceland and National Gallery of Iceland.
What is the role of museums in the global context? How do they perform their educational role? Museum work as a creative process. The museum as a forum for creativity: democracy and research. Power and responsibility in presentation of the cultural heritage in museums. Ethics and responsibility - can museums deal with extremes? New demands and needs of museum users.
