Open Call: Outburst Queer Arts Festival, deadline 29 May (Belfast, 13.–21.11.2026)
Outburst is a curated festival of vital new queer art and creative happenings. We programme new works and events by queer artists, writers and makers, that resonate in some way with the urgent conversations we need to have now around sexuality and gender and everything that those things brilliantly disrupt and playfully intersect.
For our 20th festival, we want to make and share spaces to deep dive into what Queer means now and where our revolutionary magic is, beyond individual identities, beyond the imagination stifle of the EDI tick box, beyond doing it for the Gram.
