New board of the Association For Culture on Equal Terms

PhD Marjo Mäenpää was the director of the Foundation of Cultural Policy Research Cupore 2016-2024. Mäenpää is an active decision-maker in the fields of culture policy, research and education. She was director of Division of Art Policy in Ministry of Education and Culture 2013–2015 and director of Arts Promotion Centre 2013. She has been a professor of Digital Media Management in the Aalto University School of Arts, Design and Architecture (2006–2012), Dean of the Department of Art and Media in Pori / University of Art and Design Helsinki (2006–2009) and publisher.

The following members were chosen as the members of the board for a two-year period (2026–2027):

• Maria Silvennoinen, Jazz Finland, vice member Valtteri Pokela, Jazz Finland
• Tatiana Solovieva, Globe Art Point ry, vice member Sarri Vuorisalo-Tiitinen, Globe Art Point ry
• Tanja Turpeinen, ASSITEJ Finland, vice member Pisko Aunola, ASSITEJ Finland

The following members were chosen for the board for one-year period (2026):

• Riikka Rajala, Finnish Library Association, vice member Jaakko Tiinanen, Finnish Library Association

The following members will continue on the board (were chosen for a two-year period in 2025):

• Veronica Hertzberg, Föreningen Luckan rf, vice member Linda Sundberg, Föreningen Luckan rf

Also Mirka Nokka, Association of Children’s Culture in Finland and vice member Tetti Tuhkio, Association of Children’s Culture in Finland were chosen in 2025 for a two-year period, but the association announced that it would withdraw from board work.
