Developer Squad Helsinki project started
Developer Squad – the Power of Art Combating Discrimination, Stigma and Poverty project has started. The project is funded by Helsinki city and is produced in collaboration with Globe Art Point and Deaconess Foundation.
A Developer Squad is a multidisciplinary team that includes an artist, social and health services professional and an expert by experience. The team will produce community art work together with Deaconess Foundation’s D-station participants. The project will take place in Helsinki during 2026.
The artist member of the squad is artist and art educator Anastasia Artemeva. Also the other members of the Developer Squad were chosen together with Deaconess Foundation. The art workshops will be held in October 2026. The project coordinator is Sanni Virta.
