Accessibility and Live Music: Call for Research Participants

Are you a live music or arts + culture enthusiast? We welcome you to participate in a master’s thesis study examining accessibility barriers and services/strategies that support inclusive cultural participation.

Individuals are invited to participate in a one-hour online interview (via Microsoft Teams) now through 28 February. All interviews will be conducted in English.

Who can participate?

Individuals who:

  • Regularly attend, organize, or manage live music events, or
  • Previously attended live music events but no longer do so.

While participation is open to all who meet the above criteria, individuals who identify as D/deaf, visually impaired, disabled, or neurodivergent are especially encouraged to participate, as their perspectives are valuable to the research study.

What should participants expect?

Interviewees will discuss their experiences attending and/or organizing live music events. All perspectives are welcomed, and no prior knowledge of accessibility is required.

Participation is voluntary, and individuals have the right to withdraw their consent at any time. Personal data will be collected confidentially and anonymized prior to analysis.

How can I get involved?
