Uncertainty – The Tales of Emeric 9.-12.10.2025, Helsinki
On Thursday, 9 October, the Outsider Art Festival and DuvTeatern co-production “Uncertainty – The Tales of Emeric” will premiere at Caisa Cultural Centre.
Uncertainty – The Tales of Emeric is an emotional and energetic performance that draws the audience into the world of the warrior Emeric and deep into the shadows of the human mind. Drawing inspiration from fencing and the movement language of martial arts, this dance-based work is based on a script by Emil Nordman, who has long been a member of DuvTeatern. Nordman also performs in the piece himself.
The director and Nordman’s artistic mentor is Antti Silvennoinen, who studied theatre and martial arts in China, has many years of experience in physical theatre, and has worked as a fight choreographer in various theatres.
