Kaikukortti celebrates 10 years!

The Kaikukortti 10 years logo is designed by Maija Hurme, based on the Kaikukortti logo designed by Jenny Lucander.

Kaikukortti was launched in Espoo in 2015. Over the past ten years, the card has not only opened doors to theatres, exhibitions and events – it has also brought joy, experiences and sense of community to thousands of people. Shared moments around art and culture have created inspiration, inclusion and new encounters – and it is good to continue this for the coming decades!

In honor of the anniversary, Kaikukortti received several warm greetings and congratulations. They emphasized that culture belongs to everyone and that Kaikukortti is an important part of this work.

Suzanne Innes-Stubb, spouse of the President of the Republic, thanked Kaikukortti for promoting inclusion, equity and well-being. President Tarja Halonen reminded that “art is the spice of life”. Member of Parliament Pia Viitanen highlighted the experiences and joy that the card enables, and actor Kati Outinen is particularly pleased that Kaikukortti allows people to enjoy culture even when life is otherwise challenging.

Read the congratulations on Kaikukortti's website (in Finnish).

Svenska Yle has written an article about Kaikukortti's 10th anniversary: Kaikukortet firar tio år, men få känner till kortet som ger gratis kulturupplevelser för mindre bemedlade (directs to Svenska Yle)

The anniversary is supported by Amos Andersons fond. We thank for the support!
