A course about intralingual translation /rewording starts in University of Helsinki
Helsinki University arranges a course about intralingual translation /rewording in autumn 2014. The course concentrates on two types of intralingual translation: intralingual captioning (form Finnish to Finnish) and audio description.
During this autumn, theatre captioning and audio description will be produced to one theatre play in December and January at Helsinki City Theatre and Teatteri Viirus.
This is the first intralingual translation courses in Helsinki University, which includes an authentic project from the field.
