Open call: Outsider Art Festival – deadline 20th March
Join Outsider Art Festival! Participants are selected by open call -submissions. The admission process is open 2.-20.3.2020.
Outsider Art Festival celebrates cultural equality and invites all artists in the field of outsider art to join the new festival. Outsider Art Festival is organised as part of Helsinki Festival from 20th to 21st August 2020.
Outsider Art Festival connects international art audience, outsider artists, cultural professionals and influencers. The theme and visual identity of the 2020 festival – “Together We See More” – is created by ITE artist, musician Maria Mattila with performance and visual artist Kalevi Helvetti.
Outsider Art Festival is a new multi-disciplinary showcase festival. Its main venue is in G Livelab Helsinki. Outsider Art Festival presents Finnish outsider art, music, performances and exhibitions, as well as keynote speeches by international guests, panel discussions, workshops and networking events.
The full festival program will be announced in April 2020.
