New year 2020 with Kaikukortti

Happy New Year from Kaikukortti kaikuu project!

Kaikukortti support and development service is now (from the beginning of 2020) permanent part of the Culture for All Service.

As year 2020 begins, Kaikukortti has been spread to about 30 municipalities in Finland. Kaikukortti is currently in use in Espoo, Kainuu area, Karkkila, Kemi, Lappeenranta, Lohja, Oulu, Savonlinna and Tornio. Kaikukortti is also tested out in Kauniainen, Kempele, Central Ostrobothnia and Kruunupyy, Järvilakeus area (Evijärvi, Lappajärvi, Kauhava), Nivala, Rovaniemi and Vaasa at the moment.

Some new areas will start as the year goes on, we will inform about that later!

What is Kaikukortti?

The Kaikukortti card can be used to get free tickets to, for example, festivals, concerts, dance performances or the theatre or to pay for adult education centre courses. One is eligible for Kaikukortti, they are a client of an social service or healthcare actor that is a member of the Kaikukortti network. Kaikukortti is meant for young people, adults and families who cannot afford tickets or courses due to financial constraints.
