Globe Art Point: Call for interns
Are you interested in working as an intern (työkokeilu) in a project with international artists/culture workers?
Globe Art Point is looking for an intern to work at the Globe Art Point Helsinki starting in August 2017. You could be the right person for us if you live in the capital city area and your background is oriented to culture & arts.
Skills requires
- Good level of English.
- Some level of Finnish language, could be in the process of learning it.
- Good computer skills.
- Google docs, mail, social media.
- Basic level of WordPress (able to update a blog)
We are offering a great opportunity to do networking, establish community and cooperation with other artists & culture workers and learn more about the Finnish arts & culture sector.
The internship will start in mid-August or as agreed after the internship has been confirmed by the process of TE-toimisto.
The Globe Art Point is a center for information and actions especially meant for international art and culture workers resident in Finland. Its task is to promote equality and integration in Finnish art and culture sectors in collaboration with other organisations and institutes. Opened in 2017 the center collects and distributes information, organises events, develops projects, supports artists´ employment and defend their rights.

The Globe Art Point is established and managed by the International Artists´ Center Finland association, funded in 2016 by international artists´ communities. The Globe Art Point is supported in 2017 by Finnish Cultural Foundation, Ministry of Education and Culture as well as the Helsinki City Cultural Office.
