The Non-Discrimination Ombudsman gives recommendations to improve accessibility for organizers of events
Everyone has the right to participate equally on cultural activities. The Non-Discrimination Ombudsman of Finland has produced 11 recommendations to improve accessibility of events. The recommendations are aimed at organizers of events and festivals and ticket sales companies.
The recommendations include for example that personal assistants should get free entrance and there should be information about the accessibility of the event on the website of the event.
The recommendations are now available in Finnish, but they will be translated to Swedish soon.
