The Edge of Ice festival on 21.-23.1.2016, Helsinki
The Edge of Ice festival 21st-23rd January 2016 presents the performative arts of the people in North. The three-year project The people of the Edge of Ice will end with a forum and a festival.
The festival program includes performances, films and concerts from time, when finno-ugric people had the same myths, stories about the world tree and three-level reality. The festival will tell through art, what it is like to struggle for the mother tongue and identity, sometimes for your own existence.
