Ijahis idja — Indigenous Music Festival 13.-16.8. in Inari
The Ijahis idja (‘Nightless Night´) Indigenous Music Festival is yearly held in the village of Inari, Finland.
Festival venue is the Sámi Cultural Centre Sajos. You can listen and experience Sámi and other indigenous peoples music in festival events such as concerts, music seminars, workshops and clubs. This year the festival takes place 13th- 16th of August, and it´s theme is "Wild Fells". The purpose of the theme is to emphasize on Enontekiö area joik traditions and also modern sámi music.
