Joensuun Parafest 13th-15th August
Joensuun Parafest is arranged for the fifth time in Joensuu on 13th-15th August 2015. The festival is unique in Finland and an example of how to promote equality by means of art and culture.
Program
The program includes for example Culture and Disability seminar, art exhibitions, stand up performance by Gavin Lilley, monologue by Pekka Heikkinen, Blue Flamenco´s Megafon dance group, Able Art Group dance theatre group, Dance with me! dance performance, poem night and Kalakukko Orchestra.
Accessibility
Joensuun Parafest is accessible event. All the performances are free of charge. Most of the program will be interpreted to Finnish Sign Language and picture communication. Assistants from Spesio Services are available on Thursday 13th Augusta and Friday 14th August at 17.30.-21.30.
