Rap lyric writing and video workshops for young people
Väestöliitto - the Family Federation of Finland presents:
Check out the fresh track "Jaksaa Jatkaa" (Eng. "Keep on going") and the documentary film "Jaksaa jatkaa-making of (Eng. Keep on going - making of") in which a collective of youth in Helsinki is speaking up about the world they currently live in. Ted-project was carried out in collaboration with Youth Department of Helsinki, funded by the Social Services and Health Care of Helsinki City. In each workshop the participants were exposed to express their thoughts and views about their well-being by writing their own rap lyrics. Rap lyric writing technique was facilitated by rap musician Shaka Kampara in five different youth centers around Helsinki.
