Cultural diversity challenges in the social studies seminar in Turku University 20.10.2011/
Turku University organises a day seminar on the challenges of social research in culturally diverse society: how to reach immigrant as research subjects? What issues have to be considered when interviewing subjects? How to achieve the subjects' confidence? What are the other challenges while conducting surveys? The seminar is designed especially to social scientists, who do or plan to do research on immigrants, but it is open to anyone interested.
