Accessibility renewals at the Naïvists at Iittala - Summer Exhibition 2011
The exhibition is held at the old school building of Iittala, which provides a fitting atmosphere for a good-humored display of the latest works by the foremost naïvist artists in Finland.
This year´s exhibition (28.5. - 28.8.2011) contains 350 recent works by a total of 30 artists. Adjustment work has been made in the exhibition spaces to improve the participation possibilities of people with physical disabilities. There is now a new wheelchair ramp at the main entrance. The toilet for the visitors has been equipped with accessible furniture. At downstairs there are new ramps between the exhibition halls and some of the doorsteps have been removed. At downstairs one can view a slide presentation about the works of art at the second floor.
