New accessibility solutions at the Väärni Vicarage in Finland
Väärni Vicarage is an old renovated vicarage milieu and the birth place of the writer Juhani Aho in Lapinlahti.
The vicarage has been used as an attraction site and a feast/culture space since 2008. The main building of the vicarage has now been renovated, and the people with physical disabilities have been taken in to account in the renovation.
One of the entrances of the vicarage has been made accessible. There is also an accessible toilet now close to the entrance. The feedback for the accessibility solutions has been positive and the vicarage has been visited by many visitors with physical disabilities.
