A new relationship between audience and theatre

The Centre for Practise as Research in Theatre at the University of Tampere has run a project called "YLÖS - Challenges of audience development and education within theatre" with European Social Fund's (ESF) support.

The project has taken a look at the current status of audience development and education and applied theatre carried out in professional theatres and developed new models with which theatres could broaden their approach and practices.

At the end of the project the centre has published a leaflet entitled "A new relationship between audience and theatre". The publication is in Finnish and it can be downloaded from the website www.yleisotyo.fi or ordered from the Centre for
